Receive emergency alerts and other important community news by signing up for Monroe County's Emergency and Community Alert Program.  Monroe County Alert Notification System (MCANS) allows you to use multiple means of communication for the both Emergency Alert System and the Community Notification System.  In addition to your home phone, you may add mobile phones, Voice over IP (VOIP) land lines, e-mail and/or text messaging to be included to receive messages from both the Emergency Alert and Community Notification System.  You may also choose the order in which you receive the notification. These systems allow the County to easily and swiftly communicate with residents and interested parties through all of today’s available technology.

SUMMERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN 
DECEMBER BOARD OF REVIEW 
Tuesday, December 13, 2022 6:00 p.m. 


Pursuant to Act 237 of the Public Acts of 1994, a December Board of Review of Summerfield Township,  Monroe County, Michigan, will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the Township Hall. 

The December Board of Review has been granted the authority by the property tax laws of the State of  Michigan, 211.53b, approved, 1967 and P.A. 14 of 1985 effective May 1, 1985 and P.A. 74 of 1995  effective June 13,1995, to correct clerical errors and mutual mistakes of fact concerning property  assessments. 

The purpose of this meeting of the December Board of Review is to review and grant or deny disabled  veteran exemption applications, qualified agricultural property exemptions and make adjustments for  qualified errors, mutual mistakes of fact and clerical errors that will affect the taxes for the parcels in  question. 

Assessments and class changes and other questions that are put before the March Board of Review will  NOT BE ADDRESSED OR CHANGED at this December Board of Review. 

Any interested parties are invited to attend.
