On this site you will find much of the information that is available from our office including the Zoning Ordinance, Master Plan, application and other forms, meeting minutes and building permits.

KN95 Masks Free to Residents- Summerfield Township, in cooperation with the Monroe County Health Department and Monroe County Emergency Management Division, has free KN95 masks available.  Masks can be picked up at the township hall from 9-noon daily. Feel free to contact the township at 279-1214 if these times are not convenient and you'd like to make arrangements to obtain masks.

​​​​​​​​MCANS is Monroe County’s New Communication Tool! 


Receive emergency alerts and other important community news by signing up for Monroe County's Emergency and Community Alert Program.  Monroe County Alert Notification System (MCANS) allows you to use multiple means of communication for the both Emergency Alert System and the Community Notification System.  In addition to your home phone, you may add mobile phones, Voice over IP (VOIP) land lines, e-mail and/or text messaging to be included to receive messages from both the Emergency Alert and Community Notification System.  You may also choose the order in which you receive the notification. These systems allow the County to easily and swiftly communicate with residents and interested parties through all of today’s available technology.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST
OF VOTING EQUIPMENT
To the qualified electors of Summerfield Township, Monroe County, State of Michigan: Notice is hereby given that a Public Accuracy Test for the electronic equipment that will be used for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election is scheduled for Monday, July 25th at 12:00 p.m. (noon), at the Summerfield Township Hall, 26 Saline Street, Petersburg, Michigan. The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.
