Thursday September 14th, 2017 is the last day to pay SUMMER TAXES  without a 1% penalty.  If you choose to pay cash, it must be the exact amount.  I keep no money on hand.  If mailed, taxes must be post marked by September 14th, 2017.  If you pay by mail you will receive a paid receipt.  If Summer Taxes are no paid by the due date a 1% per month is added to your base amount, each month.

Receive emergency alerts and other important community news by signing up for Monroe County's Emergency and Community Alert Program.  Monroe County Alert Notification System (MCANS) allows you to use multiple means of communication for the both Emergency Alert System and the Community Notification System.  In addition to your home phone, you may add mobile phones, Voice over IP (VOIP) land lines, e-mail and/or text messaging to be included to receive messages from both the Emergency Alert and Community Notification System.  You may also choose the order in which you receive the notification. These systems allow the County to easily and swiftly communicate with residents and interested parties through all of today’s available technology.

Summerfield Township has set the fall clean-up day for Saturday, October 7th from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Stevens Disposal located at 16929 Ida West Road.

 Please, no large pieces of concrete, no tires, or hazardous material.  Items must be canned, bagged, boxed, or bundled. Proof of residency will be required.
